@Gittonsxv Though iTunes have "taken" away Derpy's identity in The Last Roundup, the "show" itself has continued her existence like before without the need of that identity because her fans given her one. |

Personally I've never understood why people were offended by her name. When was the last time "Derpy" was used as an insult? Try never, literally never, whereas "Ditzy" is commonly used to describe someone as airheaded and clueless. To see for yourself, look up any high-school comedy from around the 90s. Is the stereotypical barely passing, spastic blonde cheerleader character being described as "The Derp" or "The Ditz"? Told you so. |
