I find that as you give out love more evenly among people (or at least certain kinds of it,) it becomes less special.
What is the difference between a person that genuinely loves only one person and another who genuinely loves 5 people in the same manner? I think the one and only would feel like they are someone that is uniquely special to their lover. The 5 may feel loved, but they aren't unique in how they are loved, because there are always 4 others that is loved in the same way. But different strokes for different humanized ponies. A philosophizer, I ain't. |

I gotta be honest, her answer is really bugging me.
I feel the guy is asking her if she wants somebody that can't sleep unless they're next to her. Somebody that will take care of her when she's sick and she will take care of. Somebody who's smile is only for them. Someone who will do something that hate, just because it will make her happy. You can care about multiple people, but only one can hold a special place in one's heart at a time. |

Assuming we're not talking about royal one night stands... I can't tell if my view of single-partner relationships is just educated into me, or Luna is simply a royal attention whore.

There inevitably comes a moment, when you are deciding how to spend your limited time that you must necessarily choose between one or the other. When you cannot be all things to all people.

Well Discord a while back mention Luna acts like she does here as a result of the trauma she went threw as Nightmare Moon and her need to be loved. So it is possible she feels that if she sleeps with a lot of people she would be loved more. |
