I'm just tired of hearing people complain about how our fandom has been ruined by the drama and the fighting. That's how every fandom works. No fandom is all roses and sunshine.
Yes, our fandom is relatively unique compared to some others, but that doesn't mean that people are going be agreeable and nice all of a sudden. |

Season 2 had more crazy pony based episodes, fandom adapted to be crazy and insane like those episodes. Season 1 had calm and quiet and similar episodes, fandom acted in similar.

I believe many have joined the community as it is not mainstream, I know there's a buckload of furries in SL with pony avs and they don't even like the series.. Seems like it is the "in" thing to do, sure do hope that cools off and the scumbags leave. |

Bronies =/= furries. Bronies often aspire to be something, they enjoy a certain show, psychologically maybe there is a certain level of escapism and idolisation of a perfect world. The furry fandom is largely a fetish now. They are nothing alike. "Funny animal" is a derivative of the translation of the Japanese work "Kemono", saying the two groups are the same is downright offensive considering what the furry fandom has become. Often furries cannot see the difference, I can tell you that bronies can. |
