Trixie refused help due to paranoia. She claimed that some of the ponies in that town tried to murder her, because there was no way those two idiot colts would have managed to sneak out of their homes without being discovered, sneak past the sentries without being discovered, navigate a dangerous forest without being eaten by wild animals. Furthermore, she claimed that some of the ponies, whom she claimed were the same ponies who heckled and tried to upstage her, looked disappointed at her survival, and one of them looked like she wanted to finish the job. |
