You really shouldn't talk about things you don't understand. And you obviously have no understanding of capitalism. |

^That's capitalism in its purest form, like Russia in the 90s. |

Oh, and this is a funny series. I can easily see this being the adult humor version of MLP. |

^^^And you obviously have no understanding of humor?
God I hate when people say that, but here it is true. |

I'm libertarian capitalist myself, but come one - this is quite funny. We should be able laugh at ourselves. And then crush our philosophical enemies later.]You really shouldn't talk about things you don't understand. And you obviously have no understanding of capitalism.[/quote]

It's funny because it's true. The first thing a a lot of "capitalists" do after they're established in business is try to destroy capitalism by eliminating their competition and/or preventing competition from getting started. Direct violence is the most primitive way of doing it, in the middle ages it was the guild system that prevented anybody new from getting into the game, and in USA these days they do it through the creation of laws and regulations that favor the established businesses. Anybody who doesn't realize this isn't paying attention. *end lecture* |

A nail salon I usually visit got in huge trouble two years after they were in business. Thay used the stylized M of the Iron Man Triathlon logo in the name of the salon, and they had to pay damages, as well as change the store name. It turns out the suit was started by an ex-employee, who signed into a new salon, a few months after she was fired for skimming supplies. Someone there had connections, and that lawsuit letter came in the mail. I know there's other and worse cases of backstabbing like this, but that's one I've experienced. Well, by proxy, anyways. |
