But, he's not- Actually, you know what? I'll just wait and see what happens. I doubt anything interesting will drop by, but whatever. If my OC's discorded, and he's smiling, then that would mean he's a manic depressant. That would make an interesting character. He's actually better discorded than normal. |

Well, if Candace turn out to be a legit alicorn, I think it's okay. It just means you can fly and do magic. It doesn't automatically make you as strong and powerful as the Celestial Sisters. I bet actual alicorns can do both, but are weaker in those regards than an actual unicorn or pegasus, unless they train or some crap. |

true enough, but since the aliconrs are noted to be a rarity even on equestria and since so far the only ones we've seen are royalty and two of them are phisycal gods(with the third posibly also be, we'll see when the episode airs), any alicorn oc may raise the flags of posible mary sues, however should be noted that the power itself is not the only factor, there is also how the characters develop, while let's say it can curbstomp their enemies ona hoof-to-hoof combat, they may be situations where his power turns out to be useless or even a handicap, kinda many superman stories, as well as personality

I'm glad Candace turned out ti be an alicorn, that way she could paved the way for better Alicorn OC's. They don't have to be as tall as Celestia, or, heck, not even as powerful as Twilight in magic. Just a pony that can do both, but not be the best. My OC is just a gamer/programmer (since games where made canon, and there even being a nerd pony with a robot for a cutie mark), kinda like the jack of all trades when it comes to everything that involves games (whether they be regular board games or arcade machines), but he's by far not the best. If he would meet a pony who's talent is programming, he wouldn't stand a chance. He's an expert, but nowhere near the best. |
