Well, yeah maybe, but really willpower and courage are the primary traits necessary. A straightforward Green Lantern with a sense of justice who picks up some of the standard tricks can work out fine.

If Hal Jordan, originally the most boring hero alive with the exception of Barry Allen Flash 2, could be the most powerful of all Green Lanterns, I think Applejack could be a supurb green lantern.

^Little Strongheart is the best candidate since Pieface is a Native American. There's such a thing as buffalo pie so the nickname could work too.
