This would likely work if something got her really pissed off. But it has to be extremely pissed off, since if I remember correctly they look for the most rage filled living thing when they hand out that ring. |

While Rainbow Dash is egocentric and a kidder on the outside, and rock hard loyalty and principles on the inside....I actually see where this is going.
Rainbow Dash has nearly attacked many of the protagonists in this show, including Nightmare Moon, Trixie in the last scene, and of course, the Flim Flam Brothers. She's got issues. Issues and Rage, lots and lots of Rage. |

Yellow Lantern Twilight: "There's too many Black Lanterns! They're not afraid of me! We have to retreat now or we'll be overwhelmed!"
Rainbow Dash: "So what if there's too many of them Black Lantern creeps? I - I can take them!" Rarity: "Don't be silly! We'll need one more lantern besides Applejack and Twlight to fight them off!" [Dash is outnumbered and being grabbed on all sides by Black Lanterns] Black Lanterns: "jOIn uSsS!!" Green Lantern Applejack: "Rainbow, don't fear! I'm comin' for ya!" Rainbow Dash: "I - I can't fight them off! I can't! I - " [The Black Lanterns pile onto her, about to begin the process of turning her into a Black Lantern. Applejack dives in to save her when she noticed a Black Lantern sneaking behind a panicking Scootaloo] Green Lantern Applejack: "Scootaloo, look out!" Scootaloo: [She was struck from the back] "AAAarrgh!!" [Scootaloo hits the ground, unconscious and bleeding. the Black Lanterns approach her as the other Mane Cast desperately tries to survive] Rarity: "Oh no! We're surrounded! Oh my stars, why do we have to end like this!!" Pinkie Pie: "Ohohoh! look up there! Is that another power ring?" [A red shooting star dives into the pile of Black Lanterns on top of Rainbow Dash. Suddenly, the pile of Black Lanterns explodes, momentarily blinding all characters in the brawl] [When the dust cleared, Rainbow Dash stood firmly on her hind legs amidst a spread of stunned Black Lanterns. On her front right hoof was the Red Lantern Ring, burning brightly in a blood crimson glow. No longer was she naked - the distinctive attire of the Red Lantern Corps had appeared over her body. An aura of red energy surrounded her being, its tendrils cascading up and outwards in sharp, electrifying bolts.] [Her gaze had changed - what was once the fearful eyes of a blue pegasi about to be overwhelmed had shifted into a sinister, harden glare. It stung like daggers into hearts of anypony, and so vicious it was it could had killed. Her teeth bare and clenched, blood flowed down her cheeks from her bleeding gums.
