"Justice"? Are you fucking serious right now? Get the fuck out of here, man. No 'wrong' in the conventional sense was committed. Changing Derpy was not an injustice to us because we DIDN'T create Derpy, THEY did. They drew her, they animated her, and they decided to give her a speaking cameo ONLY because they appreciated the fans and knew she was popular among them. Don't try to act like we actually made her and then get all pissy when they decided to change her so she wasn't an offensive stereotype. No one is responsible for ANY wrong-doing, and especially not Yamino. |

Wrong-doing is subjective. I consider that forcing your misguided views onto others whether they like it or not is wrong, especially when it's clear that the vast majority had a different opinion.
And of course, by claiming that Derpy was an offensive stereotype you're actually the one perpetuation the stereotype. Derpy was never meant to be disabled, thereby you are the one connecting traits like clumsy, having lazy eyes and a deep voice with being disabled. YOU and others like you claiming she is offensive are actually the offensive ones. But that is just my opinion. |
