Scootalove with Fluttershy is rarely seen. I still think a good way to knock out two episode types at once would be Rainbow Dash trying to win back Scootaloo's attention (Scootaloo episode) once the little pegasus starts trying to hang with Gilda (Gilda returns episode) |

@Psychopomf I agree with the first part of your post, however I personally don't really want a Gilda returns episode. Trixie, yes. Gilda, NO. |

The thing that slightly bothers me about Scootalove is that it's a reaction to Scootabuse which can from Faust telling us that RD would make a bad sister. So it doesn't seem right for RD to be nice to Scootaloo.
This doesn't have that problem. In face, it's very much in-character for Fluttershy. It's also pretty interesting for the little tomboy and the creampuff to bond rather than the little tomboy and the big tomboy. |
