i don't get why she would be upset if other ponies thought she had extensions, i mean, i could be wrong here, but isn't that just something some girls get, like earrings, some girls get them and others don't, but it doesn't really matter one way or the other? |

Maybe to ponies, having a longer tail is a sign of virginity/being asexual, by being able to cover up their bits better? So having it announced to all of Ponyville that Flutters is a virgin or at least trying to appear like a virgin could be pretty darn embarrassing. I dunno, just a thought. |

Exactly, I think it's not true, and she's upset because people are lying about her. Though her tail does look longer than normal in the magazine, she could have been trying it and ditched it, or maybe the angle made it look longer. |

Don't forget how shy she is; it's very possible she considers things that aren't embarrassing at all embarrassing, such as using extensions and all that. |
