The town ponies basically shunning the CMC seemed harsh, but some of those Gabby Gums articles were over the line. The one about the Cakes breaking up could of harmed their business and potentially their marriage. Rainbow Dash on the other hand was just being Rainbow Dash... her rep and ego mean everything to her |

I'll be the first to say that I don't like Dash. But to be honest, I understand where she's coming from. I think it's been pretty firmly established that she needs attention and admiration of others to feel good. Then again, I might just be overthinking this. So yeah. |

I was expecting him to say something along the lines of "You've brought shame upon the family name" to be honest. And the role reversal was quite refreshing and pretty much integral to the moral of the story. |
