Too long, but read anyway.

The ending just wins it. This isn't your typical grimderp.

Gotta wonder about the origin of that fluffy pony society and their immediate hatred of humans.

Love it. Seeing bad fluffies get what they deserve is so sweet.
I was as pissed off as the guy in the story when they ruined the berries.
But the thought of fluffies charging in anger is such a funny thought.

I was all,"nah ah, no those mother fuckers didn't!" When they tore that bush apart and cheered the guy on for literally ripping that one fluffy a new one. They had no reason to keep food from him.

^ I think it's almost impossible, considering that they're artificial created, accident-prone and stupid...
What was with that smarty-friend and their hatred, too? And how they managed to survive? How did they get there, in first place?

^Perhaps that's the reason they were abandoned. Some bio-lab tried to create fluffy ponies that weren't accident-prone like normal retarded fluffy ponies, but the results were unlikeable little fluffed shits. And instead of drowning them all, they just abandoned them on an island, thinking that they would all hilariously die a gruesome death. But then nobody gives a fuck about fluffy ponies.

Maybe fluffies operate like a hivemind once they reach high enough numbers, and their intelligence slightly increases, enough to be able to adapt to the wilderness. This is never seen in urban areas because there are never enough fluffies together. Their hostility to humans comes from genetically passed memories of abuse, recognized for what it is from the hivemind. They probably should have given the humans a chance, but I guess their intelligence boost didn't go that far.

Am I the only one who notices that once he had Smarty by the neck he just had to ask him to point him to food?

I surprised he didn't resort to eating the fluffies sooner, I mean sure they're somewhat intelligent but they were still an obvious food source

I'd really like to read a story where humans and ponies live side-by-side in harmony... with a mutual loathing for Fluffies.

If for no other reason than I'd love to see Dash drop a a Rainuke on their flanks.

No, I think there were much earlier stories with smarty friends. Originally it was a particular alpha stallion who referred to himself as smarty friend because he thought he actually was smarter than the rest of the herd. The term didn't get generic until a couple more stories after that.

This guy deserves a medal. Nobel prize or something. I mean this fandom, of course, it's full of sick people, but fucking talented. Can't deny that.
