This isn't actually accurate. based on spike's growth phases in SoME and the depictions of dragons in DQ this is Spike's prepubescent phase. His pubescent teenage phase would put him at a little under double this size, which is when he would be becoming physically romantic.

@DPV111: I'd say this is pretty accurate. When in the first phase, Spike's size isn't really changing. It stays pretty much the same until his greed level reaches certain point and then he immediately turns into the second phase. Just watch SoME again.
