I like Johto, but the other generations all have pretty cool Pokemon. You can kind of tell that they're running out of ideas, though. Like when you have to fight a fucking ice-cream cone. |

I thought the same thing when I had to fight a pokeball that evolves into an upside pokeball.
Creating pokemon for generation 1 was some hard shit. Same for Generation 2 all the way 5. Can't expect perfect pokemon for every generation. |

I love G1, G2, G3, G4, and G5. I'd welcome G6 with open arms.
If all the pokemon games revolved around G1 only, it would be promised we'd all be sick and tired of pokemon, because there's nothing new. I salute Game Freak for their HARD work to no only entertain us and gives memories, but the newer generations too. We got our adventures when we were young; for some it was a huge part of our childhoods. But the Younger generations deserve the same thing we experienced as welll. Though personally, after Pokemon Soul Silver, I grew tired of Kanto... Very tired... The new can be just as great as the old if you give it a chance. Example: My Little Pony. |

Dunno, I always saw Cobalion as the Freddie Pokemon (He is even in a QUARTET for gods sake and the stache')
But every gen is great, some shitty Pokemon, some good pokemon, and some pokemon that look shitty but you get warm'd with it over the time, that is the charm of Pokemon. People tied to nostalgia grinds my gears too, but I tend to ignore em' |

Can't blame em' though, the Pokemon anime has some of the most irregular passing on the history.
From Ash starting well in Kanto, the pointless Orange Archipielago, the MASSIVE filler and failure of the Johto, Advance generation freshness then ANOTHER filler via Battle Frontier (Loved the japanese intro though) Then semi-bad, semi-good but LONG ASS Diamond & Pearl and then Best Wishes... And best wishes is still good, but as Starry said, the earthquake and the cancel of the Team Plasma diminished the show... Still I like the variety there, just let Iris DO SOMETHING AT ALL, if you whored Dawn to death, heck, do something for her! |

Just my 2 cents, anyone who complains that the new generation pokémon are uninspired are for getting that the early generations had plenty of weirdos. See: Jynx, Poliwhirl, Wheezing, Dunsparce, Pineco.
But, yes, an animate snowcone is pretty ridiculous. Also, all I know about Best Wishes is that Team Rocket takes a turn for the badass, so that's a plus. |

All five gens are amazing. Gen 2 will always be my favorite though. Just... Oh, the memories. No nostalgiafagging here, but you have to admit that hopping from Johto back to to Kanto was legendary. HGSS is happy time. |

I have to laugh at people who act like the first set of Pokemon were good, when it included a minstrel, a mime, a duck, a rat, a bull, a hawk, a pigeon and a starfish, all with virtually no effort put into changing their design.
Pokemon always sucked, it just matters when you were old enough to figure that out. |
