If Nyx is a Mary Sue, then so is Twilight. If you switched every Nyx complaint with the name Twilight, it would hold. She's a filly version of NM, and Ponyville is a extremely happy place. Why wouldn't everypony like her? Except for those bullies and the towns pony's that were intimidated by her power. |

Look people, Mary Sue is a very loose term that varies from person to person. One man's sue is another's well written character.
So why do these arguments keep breaking out over this character? Whatever happened to just ignoring what you don't like? Some people will like things you don't, and telling them not to like it won't change anything. |

How do you figure that she stole Scoots' look? Scootaloo was always very tomboyish. And I do not recall when Nyx forced Twilight to break off all connections with all of her friends. There was a part where Twi went off to confront Nyx by herself because she though she had to, but at no point did she estrange herself from everyone. You seem to be taking those situations out of context a bit. |
