Some video game systems will not feed input to a computer, because of the stupid Macrovision signal.
Try hooking a game system to a name-brand video input device. The device will cry foul, with something like "Macrovision copy protection signal detected. This device is shutting down now." It's a video game system, yeah, but one of the legal terms in there says that it is for private viewing only, just like a DVD. |
