Hey OP - You know that's not a statistically significant sample size from which to draw any sort of conclusion? Why not compile a sample of, say, 1000 random pony pics (or even 200 for a quick job) in a spreadsheet, sort them by content and four criteria: comments, weighted hits (hits/time online), absolute hits (simple hits per pic), and views. All this data should be readily obtainable on devart alone. You can then plot (not that plot) trends to test your hypothesis. I can bet that if you mad made a post like that, with an image of your data, that you would not be spammed by Woody. Er. Probably. Probably not. At least you would have proven your point in an educated and through manner.

@OP I think that this thread could have avoided blowing up had you chosen a different tone than the one displayed in the image, If that is truly what you wanted to assert then a different dialogue would have been adequate. While I'm not big on clop art I disagree that all artists MUST sexualize their art for attention. See Moe,Tsira360 Raikoh14 PonyKillerX and many others. As for my analogy, it is very simple, I met too many artist drawing horrid pornography (as in, for the love of god, that's not a vagina, that cock is wrong or that scene didn't need the nudity at all) and stating they are doing it to advance their art while doing nothing to actually further it by, you know, actually drawing better their pornographic scenes instead of just attaching a dick somewhere and acting all hoffy when people call shenanigans. They say they are drawing it because it makes them better artist (it doesn't), because if you don't draw everything you can't call yourself a real artist (false), because no one has the right to tell them what to draw (true, so very much so, fuck you guys who say otherwise). Issue is, a good deal just do it for attention (hey guys, I draw porn now!!!) and produce lots of it for the sake of porn, which really annoys me when added to the two previous things I listed because it means you aren't advancing your art, you are pandering to people's sex organs while not caring about it to begin with. So yes, by the logic they use every professional actor (if my usage of artist wasn't clear enough) should act in a porn film, and that is just bad logic.
