Well they did say the material is fragile. The surface could be smoother though. |

My shapeways 3d print of Hasbro's awesome Octavia 3d model. Those boneheads don't seem to know how to keep these intact during the printing process so I recommend steering clear of this one for now... |

At least its still standing? And maybe you could krazy glue it back on? |
| Hellfire #1200432 3 months ago |
@Gomenasai
It hasn't even shipped yet, broke in the machine. I've seen far more delicate looking items in their catalog though. |

I wish 3d printers come cheap.
@Hellfire: "It hasn't been shipped yet..." So that pic is from shapeways then sent to you the cause of the delay or sumthing? |
| Hellfire #1200492 3 months ago |
^Yeah, they sent the pic. They said that they have printed 10 of them with 8 breaking so far. I have a Twilight on the way too, hopefully it doesn't meet the same fate. |

This bears saying again. You can get a constructive 3d printer for under 1000$ |
| Anonymous #1200565 3 months ago |
Yeah, I was concerned that something like this would be an issue. |
| Glaive #1202266 3 months ago |
That's some bad luck... Just out of curiosity, how large is the model? It might be breaking because of it being too small. |
| Hellfire #1203297 3 months ago |
Its supposed to be aprox the same size as the brushable ponies. |

@Don But it would print shitty cheap plastic and not full-color sandstone. |
