For those who would criticize such an individual on their pet ownership, fluffies require different training methods than other pets. They have lower intelligences, and little memory. A dog or cat will easily remember training if done at a young age for a few weeks, but fluffies require memories that verge on what would be traumatic for other animals in order to understand a concept.
I mean, after a few waterboardings, I got my fluffy to use the actual toilet! (It then ate toilet paper until it choked, a few days later. *sigh*) |

@1199686: Obligatory reminder that positive reinforcement was the original fanon and that if fluffy ponies were capable of nearning from negative experiences they'd be catatonically terrified of humans by the time they ever got to an adoption center. For some reason the grimderp crowd thinks an owner punishing a pony harder and harder in increasing frustration while its tiny brain tries vainly to find ways to make him happy and show him it loves him isn't edgy enough. |

I thought fluffy ponies merely blocked or repressed bad memories. that doesn't necessarily mean they forget the experience. The fluffy pony would probably be scared of the closet or very loud music after this but it would not remember why. |
