There needs to be a new term coined. For me, these aren't humanized because they still have ears and tails. On the other hand, I wouldn't call them anthro/furry either. Since these depictions seem to follow an anime style, and bear resemblance to "Neko" or "cat" girls, I propose the term "Kouma" literally "Little Horse" for this style. All in favor? |

Dude, those are "anthro" as "anthropomorphized": human form with some of the original animal traits (in this case: horns, wings, tail, ears). Not cat girls. |

@coyote
I see no reason why not. This fandom has invented a few things, so why not a new form of anthro. Also, fantastic work OP. I usually avoid most anything labeled anthro. This is pretty damn cute. |

Unless there's a colored version that shows that their skin/fur/coat/whatever matches their pony form colors, you may want to look at this |

Okay, first off, that "Weeaboo" comment. I had to look that up. I'm by no means a Japanophile. If anything, I'm a Greco/Latin linguistics nut. I had to go to Google Translate just to find that word. I'm not ashamed to admit that I am however, a furry. Yes the term anthropomorphic does mean "in the form of man." As in animals or plants or inanimate objects with human traits. If anything, these are zoomorphic, or in the vernacular, "in the form of animals." Meaning mostly one form, but having aspects of fauna. But, in the interests of civility, I'll put an end to my little speech, and keep to the code, which I urge you all to recall and abide. Amare et Tolerare. Diliges frater, et diligis tuam sui. |

History lesson= Furry/Anthro art came from the West. All 'anime' styled art derived from American art. |
