| smartz118 #1196896 3 months ago |
Well, the scale is accurate for ANYTHING, that is why it's fill in the blank. I think I have seen this originally for furries or something. |

Thar
I'm a level 4 except I generally avoid posting ponies due to my friends being level 1. |

So how about people who live it as a lifestyle, with possible sexual attachment, and are not hateful and don't instert MLP wherever possible? Because according to this silly chart, both non-bronies and bronies have to be either black or white (which is what happens when you think 4 options is enough to cover anything) |

So level 4 is a fursuiter?
Keeeel wif fierrrrr. |

It's not a sliding scale. The difference between liking and disliking the show has nothing to do with the difference between a decent, rational person who tolerates the opinions of others and a rude, ignorant hypocrite who insults people. There are decent people who like it, decent people who dislike it, unpleasant hypocrites who like it, and unpleasant hypocrites who dislike it.
Being an unreasonable fan is a result of two fundamentally different personality traits, not merely a "higher level" of fannishness which decent people should scorn and ostracize (note the hypocrisy); people who are like that tend to be like that regardless of what they feel about things. |

Well said, 974. |

I'm precisely in the middle of this scale. |
| Anonymous #1197013 3 months ago |
I agree with the above anon. Liking something doesn't define a human being's entire personality.
It is just that the people with the loudest voices and the most unreasonable opinions get most of the attention while nobody notices the ordinary people who might like or dislike but have a reason for it and act reasonably. Pseudo-psychological theories like this are rarely valid. They just create errendous stereotypes and try to simplify things that aren't simple by nature. |

Humanity is too dynamic to be rated by a petty scale such as this one. It only encourages people to take factions and causes them to think only in Black or White. Same goes with the political spectrum system which should be abolished. |
