Trixie probably considered ending her torturous life at one point until she met Joe and developed relations with him. Joe convinced her to live on, enjoy life and promised that he will be there for her. He offered her a home to stay as long as she wanted to work for him in his Doughnut Shop. He was the only thing standing between Trixie and the gallows. Overtime their not only did Joe give her a home to live in but also a piece of each of their hearts to harbour each other. The relationship grew, they talked, they've dated, and did practically everything together. The two Unicorns eventually became lovers. One night on their date at the beautiful Stableside Coast Resort, Joe proposed to her and asked if she wanted to spend her life with him. At first she was hesitant to make the decision partly unwilling to part with her egotistic and selfish past self as she is now capable of taking care of herself. Joe being selfless told her that he will love her no matter what. Trixie could barely resist the proposition as the love she and Joe had shared was sweeter than any pastry forged by all pastry chefs combined. In the end she submits to her heart's feelings. |
