The beta test of the Ponibooru Board Helper userscript is going well. If you don't know what I'm talking about, see >>148817, >>153265 and >>155733
Some nice guys are helping me discovering the bugs and I must thank them for the effort. A new version of the script is ready, and I think it will be the last one before the public release, that is scheduled for this Friday... before the new episode anyway. If you want to be a beta tester, you're still in time. Just send me a PM describing your OS and your browser. Describe the platform you're going to use and you'll receive instructions about downloading and installing the script. The userscript is for Google Chrome and derivatives (Chromium, ChromePlus, Iron...), Mozilla Firefox (with Greasemonkey or Scriptish) and Opera. Maybe for Safari too, with the GreaseKit extension. I won't be responsible for any damage to your hardware and/or software. That being said, I think it's extremely unlikely that something like that will ever happen. I really see no way how a userscript can do anything bad, if you exclude bugs of the browser itself. If things really suck, just uninstall the script, and call yourself out. Things that should work so far:

I have a few suggestions if possible & ignore if already implimented:
1: Could you add buttons for bold, image, etc. codes on the comment box? 2: Can you add a colored border around the thumbnails that correspond to their rating? Red explicit, and so on? 3: Add an option to show the tags under the thumbnails instead of on mouseover? This is coming along real good, by the way. |

its funny because the words "oh my god, why is she a nigger" which a lot of anons are using is actually a trolling method. Have you ever seen anons discussing why black twilight is BAD, not wrong, i said BAD. Nope Have you seen anons using whole threads to say that the black race is BAD or INFERIOR? Nope. Yet when an anon uses those words everyone gets all butthurt. Guys, you even use words like fag, and some are worse than others, but you see people calling you homophobics? Nope. Of course there are good anons and trolling anons, but you people are taking this WAY too seriously. |

its not a matter or choice, instead its a matter of what people filter and what not. The script comes with a word filter, if you dont like something it automatically hides it. Now imagine how shitty it will be if you are forced to talk in a way that is "socially" acceptable inside ponibooru. And with the whole anon banning movement going on i can expect a shitstorm anytime soon |

Well, I for one support anon rights. I don't think most people will filter any words, I know I won't except for beta purposes. The mods aren't anon-banning willy nilly, only the ones that deserve it. I post as anon if I am too lazy to sign in, and I haven't been banned yet, plus from what I have seen of the mods they aren't jerks. |

And he will... It's all a matter of personal taste. Honestly, I don't think this script will change Ponibooru that much. If someone fills the word blacklist to the brim, it's either doing it wrong or making a mess of his/her own user experience. Anyway, in a future version I'll introduce the choice to render banned words into spoler tags, instead of hiding the comment. That should mitigate the problem.
