Didn't really build up any suspense, you made it way to obvious that she didn't really get hurt in any way unless less you count the fluff that got ripped off, but overall this could pass as a funny scene in a children's cartoon where the owner is all," oh woe is me my fluffy met with a terrible fate." |

Man, as an idea, fluffy ponies are actually interesting -- they're sapient and in many ways like a human-child, but also incredibly fragile. You get a lot of... relatively empty d'aww fics or abuse fics but nothing that really explores the kind of paranoia that would come with having to actually take CARE of something like that.
The amputation fics are fascinating in that sense -- being about causing some harm for a perceived greater safety. That hits kind of close to home for me? Or what about an abuse fic that gets into why fluffy ponies bring out that kind of emotion in the abuser? You could get into some really interesting character explorations with that. I kind of want to write something like that myself. Mostly because fluffy ponies remind me of the norns from the Creatures games, and I REALLY liked those when I was younger. |
