One day as I was leaving work and heading for the metro a young woman hurried from where she was standing and cut me off halfway through a park. She had long blonde hair, was slim, and wore thick glasses that distracted me from moving around her. In almost a single motion, she put a pamphlet in my hand and said something I didn't quite clearly catch because I was attempting to ignore her as I was trying to quickly get to the metro after having such a long day at work. She then moved out of my way and ran over to the next person she laid her eyes upon, like a buzzard to a corpse. Tired from a lack of sleep the previous night, I squinted my eyes under the blinding, bright sun as I tried to read it. "Hear the Good Word of the Lord" was the title. I never bothered to open the pamphlet. Instead, I crumpled it up and tossed it near the feet of the woman as she was reciting her lines to her next vicitm. We looked at each other for a moment, and after seeing the annoyance in my eyes she turned back to her prey and carried on. I went home, had a sandwich and went to bed. |

It's going great, got a lot of results. I'm already seeing some common trends among participants and the essay is coming along. The outline I just turned in had to be at least 3 pages long, I had a 25 page outline since there was just so much to cover. Ultimately, I'm hoping to obtain 1000 surveys, and reading them all will take four evers, but it will be fun. I'd like to note episodes with music numbers and episodes with mental breakdowns tend to be the most popular so far. |

After finals week, I plan on organizing all the relevant data into an easy to read series of pictures with charts and statistics. I will also make all my data from my surveys available in the form of an excel document, with only the names of participants and blatant trolls removed. I'm only removing the names to protect the privacy of the survey takers. |
