Tab is a diet cola. It tastes a bit like Diet Coke, but a little more acid? It was the first artificially-sweetened no-calorie cola made by Coca-cola. It gets a bad rap because lab animals get cancer if you pump stupid amounts of the sweetener into them.
You can still buy it. In some places it's as common as Diet Coke. That photo is a friend's basement; they're addicted to the stuff. |

It's still on Coke's nationwide supplemental order list, like Inka Cola. So there may be outages from time to time, depending on the load for the primary flavors. Negative press of its past use of saccharin has kept its presence on store shelves low. |
