She's dark because the person who drew this wanted to draw her dark. That's it. The thing everyone making racial comments needs to remember is that they're PONIES, and their only races are unicorn, pegasus and earth pony. Therefore, people who draw humanisations can make them whatever (human) race they damn well please. I mean, if humanisations were entirely accurate to the show they would be naked most of the time and have tattoos on their butts. |

Rarity is dark skinned because pony coats work best as indicators of preferred outfit color and a white dress on a darker skinned lady is beautiful. |
