Yeah, in all seriousness the amount of racism around here is unseemly and I do think it mostly comes from anons. I think a lot of it has to do with people trying to get a rise and with race being such a touchy subject it's really easy to offend people. I don't know though. Either way it kind of sucks.

I prefer her indian or asian, personally, but I don't have a problem with her being other races. I don't get how people could argue about this sort of thing, either; you don't get arguments about whether Pinkie Pie's fat or thin, nor ones about Fluttershy being either flat-chested or, uh, the exact opposite. Both of those are variations of the same humanisations within the fandom, but it's always the Twilight one that get people ranting...

The one thing I find funny about all this racist talk from the anons is that it isn't about race when you really think about it. All it is is just bringing up the concept of racism that makes everyone tread cautiously. Like my roommate said to me once: "Racism and bigotry are fine as long as no one gets hurt. If it's just words on a page, who cares?"

Twilight Sparkle = Tara Strong Tara Strong = White Therefore, Twilight Sparkle = White Yes, but what about Zecora? I'm sure her voice actress is white, no? Well, she's obviously based off of a sick, racial stereotype, so she's obviously intended to be black. It's only when the pony in question is in anyway ambiguous that I would begin to take their voice actor/actress into consideration as to what they would look like if they were human. Also, I'm racist.
