You know what might be more disturbing? That this sounds very real because this stuff does happen in the real world with real-world stock animals, and you only have to insert talking fluffy ponies instead of squeaking pigs or moo-ing cows. However, I love any kind of abuse, cruelty, carelessness, killing and outright torture of fluffy ponies (because the thoughts of a cat-sized fluffy mini-horse talking like a retarded baby and wanting to hug me all the time and then breaking my apartment because of its stupidity just makes me seriously angry), so I'm not the best person to ask.

Why amputated cost much less? That doesn't make sense. You do an extra work for this and they have more chances to survive. They should cost more.

The farmer gets $0.65 for a fluffy pony with legs, and $0.80 for an amputated fluffy pony. It's the pet stores that sell them for $2.00. Of course, in many places, there's many that sell fluffy ponies outside of pet stores for only half a nickel, but these aren't controlled tightly as in the fluffy pony farms and pet stores, so who knows what you get with them...
