also is there a quick and easy "hair holding" agent, something I can put on/spray on to keep the hair pristine forever maybe

that would help a lot, I mean I styled her hair ages ago but I only just recently put her on display where she's prone to dust

I don't style ponies (wish I did), but I've seen sprays that repel dust, but all I can find online is ones for glass and car brakes.

I guess a clear display box can help.

Also, sprays could mess up the plastic color or paint so be careful what you use.

Back in Victorian days folks used to have glass bells that they would put over fancy nick-nacks to keep dust from getting on them. That would be appropriate for a Rarity doll.

By making her some darling little hats that she can wear each day. Hats are easier to clean and help keep her in character. As a bonus, you can use miniature hat pins to keep her locks in place.

wish i knew I just keep mine in the packages mostly. the ones i dont have in the packages (blind bag set Mc Donald set) I just dust them with a napkin every few days regardless if they look like its needed or not. it also helps if your house is kept as dust free as possible (not leaving windows or doors open a lot helps).

What I do is just brush them somewhat regularly, altough I'd do that anyway, dust or no dust

I've actually put an old aquarium upside-down over my ponies. That being said, try a local craft store like Joann's or Hobby Lobby - either they'll have a doll case, or the employees will know who does.

My ponies manes are starting to look nappy because I never brush them. Do you actually use the little plastic brush that comes with them or something else?

^ I use the actual comb that came with them. I also have older pony brushes from my youth that have several rows of bristles. These work better/faster, but the combs are good too.

use a glass or acrylic case that has UV light tint protection to stop dust and yellowing, warning every plastic yellows (specially white) over time even if mint inside the original package!!!!
lol most of my family has a hobby in collecting my uncle in dc and transformers and my mom has some G1 ponies while I collect, build and mod things, (trying to resists moding a zoid&gundam to a mecha pony).
