change Cadence for Twilight |

I too always pictured Twilight as completing the trio, but this works as well. |

Alright, first off, I'm sorry about the image quality. I resized the first time to a small res because it had a huge filesize, but then it went down drastically after I saved to .PNG, so I resized it again. I kinda like the pixelly look it has. Plus I don't feel like arranging it again.
Anyhow. Celestia is like Daitarn 3 because Daitarn 3 is awesome, happy, funny, and sun-themed. Both the robot and the series. Luna is like Zambot 3 in that her appearance(s) were comparatively brief, and her shenanigans are sad and tragic. (Which makes them not shenanigans at all, I guess.) Plus, Zambot is more or less moon-themed. Daitarn and Zambot were related series in that they both had the same director (Yoshiyuki Tomino) and came out pretty close to each other. Trider, like Cadence, came last, is only related in that it's an "Invincible" robot (Invincible Steel Man Daitarn 3, Invincible Super Man Zambot 3, Invincible Robo Trider G7), and, um... that's all I got. |

I like to think of Twilight as Takeru Myojin, the Godmars pilot. |

So Celestia becomes the enemy at the end? |

And before anyone is confused...
Remember the last episode of Daitarn 3. |

PonyRIG said: More like I want her to be the leader of five other things that combine their strengths, which she basically does as the Element of Friendship. Scope_Dog said: You've brought this up a couple of times and I'm afraid I don't quite catch it. I realize the last episode has Banjo being portrayed as not quite so heroic as he usually is as he, instead showing him fully consumed by his quest for revenge, which apparently leaves him empty and hollow at the end. "I'm sick of this," indeed. But 'becoming the enemy'? Color me stupid, but outside of the episode portraying him as more antagonistic as usual towards the Meganoids and ultimately killing Don Zauther and Koros, how so? |
