I just REALLY like their designs for some reason (also mane, like etc.) And even if they were jerks they still cheered for Fluttershy at the end, so I hope that will divert some hate at them. Also Thunderlane gave all the fine fillies Feather Flu. SWAG! |

@Cog ... that he skipped out on something that would bring water to hundreds of ponies because he had the flu? Or as you say he was getting frisky. Because shirking your responsibilities for ass-tappage is totally cool.
I will admit he looks cool and would probably be a popular colt; I just don't see any -merit- to it beyond his appearance. He's a fast flier, but so are a lot of other ponies. |

Rumble seems to be the only canon Pegasus colt foal in the series.
There are numerous pegasi filies in Cloudsdale and Ponyville. Previously the only canonically named pegasus filly was Scootaloo. You know what else? Rumble was able to fly while Scoot is still incapable of flight despite being at a seemingly similar age. Do colts usually master flight before fillies? Thunderlane looks nothing like Rumble. Different body, eye, and mane colour and style. Then again Shining Armor bears almost no resemblance to Twilight Sparkle. |

I don't remember actually seeing Rumble fly. He was there at the training grounds and Tornado Day, but I just thought he was there for moral support for his brother, and then to let Rainbow Dash know that Thunderlane was in the hospital. |
