Veggie Tales? |

That's the one bit I didn't like in the episode. It was just a tad too cartoon-y for me. |

Cartoon-y? In a cartoon?
What is this madness. |

I prefer it silly.
How many cartoons of today still do stuff like that? (Actually I don't know since ponies are the only one I watch) |

@RIG:
Actually, I normally like stuff like this. If it were Looney Tunes or Billy & Mandy or Tom & Jerry or something where characters experience large amounts of facial deformation then I'd've laughed like a drain. But here, I dunno. It just looked a bit odd. But that's only me personally. If Dash had stuck her whole head through, I would've found it a bit funnier, that's all. |

They look like Muppet eyes. |

yeah, I didn't like this so much. I don't have so much a problem with it in itself, but it's kind of the same way that episode 15 of season 1 went over the top with Looney Tunes gags. They're okay, but this isn't Looney Tunes, and seeing gags that feel like they belong in another show is just a little disconcerting to me.
Except when Pinkie Pie does it, like the walking-on-air thing. Pinkie Pie can do whatever the hell she wants. |

i don't get you guys, oh well, better just forget this in continue forward |

Personally, I love this stuff. And honestly, this is far from the first time that this show has had cartoon-y sight gags. |

This is what makes shows like this.
@531 It's Deeper.......Madness. |

I always like it when more cartoony things happen in shows that normally aren't very cartoony.
It is so rarely shown on female characters too. Afterall I found the show on TvTropes via the trope "slapstick knows no gender" I wouldn't mind if stuff like this happens more often, or even, if there are episodes like Feeling Pinkie Keen, where this happens quite regulary. Sure, it should always stay somewhat in the background though, and never be talked about by the characters. But I personally think that many people expect the show to be more serious than what it really is. But I likely think that way because I never really liked the Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry. It's more fun to have silly things happen to cool and serious characters instead of the ones that are always silly on their own. Pinkie never got hurt that way, but others do because of her. |
