The racist are showing their ugly heads again. What was all of this about being 'loving and tolerant' guys? From what I'm seeing, you're just showing once again how unloving and intolerant you 'Bronies' can be.

Read a book and learn something about other cultures before you try pulling this bullshit and claiming that you're 'correct'. You're not; you're just a bunch of immature bigots who try to inject that same twisted view into a kids' show.

supergeek17 here.
I have no intention of changing my design or my mind-canon for Luna. I'm proud of this piece, and of making Luna unique. I would say I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable, but I'm not because I have done no wrong in embracing the ideal of the true fans of Friendship is Magic, loving and tolerating everyone. Thank you, and have a wonderful day.

(Also, Anon 1185913, please link me to that fic. 8D )

Anti-muslim bigotry may not be racism in the most technical sense, but in practice it's often indistinguishable.

"in the most technical sense" is a funny way of putting it. I think I'll start considering people, who don't agree with my views on politics and economics racist now. I mean being republican may not be racism in the most technical sense, but in practice it's often indistinguishable.

Now piss off with your pathetic slander attempts. Islam is an ideology, a choice, a decision made by people. You're not born with religion, you can always change your religion, so I will judge people based on what religion they choose to associate with and I will not pretend that someone who worships a delusional, pedophile warlord and thinks that it's alright for husbands to beat their wives is actually a decent person.

Bullshit. You and your ilk assign the traits of people considered extreme even by other Islamists and assign them to all muslims. If you were only attacking people who held those views, nobody would have a problem with you, but instead you assign them to all muslims in an attempt to justify your wholesale hatred of muslims. THAT is why you are a racist. You don't hate muslim fundamentalism, you hate anything you identify as being muslim.

We've seen in the past that it doesn't matter whether or not a muslim actually holds extremist beliefs to people like Saufsoldat. Did the fact that Keith Ellison supports women's rights more than any Republican member of congress stop bigots from attacking him? Was Feisal Rauf's work for the Bush administration spreading pro-American sentiment in the ME and his explicit statements that he considered the U.S. to be a better nation than any muslim country stop people from calling him a terrorist? Did having no connection to Islam other than being "muslim-looking" stop numerous Sikh men from being shot dead?

I'll leave off with a few fun facts (just because I know it pisses racists like Saufsoldat off):
-A muslim country (Azerbaijan) granted women the right to vote before the United States.
-Several muslim nations are less influenced by fundamentalists than the United States.
-According to a gallup poll, Christians are three times more likely than muslims to say that violence against civillians is sometimes justified.
-According to Europol, from 2006-2010 only 0.7% of terrorist attacks were carried out by muslims.
-People like Saufsoldat are the greatest friends an extremist has because they alienate moderate muslims, give actual extremists cover from accusations, and feed into extremist propoganda of a "war on Islam".

I don't like Islam as a whole, never denied that. Just like I hate naziism as a whole, even if someone claims to be a moderate follower of Hitler. Anyone who thinks a book that condones wife-beating, slave-owning and rape is a good guide to life is put on my mental "not cool" list.

That being said, I never insinuated that muslims are incapable of doing good in this world, that's just your racist spin on things and I'm calling you racist because you disagree with my ideology, which is apparently enough to consider someone racist in your world.

As for those retarded fun facts:

- Azerbaijan is not a muslims country, stop lying to make your argument look better. Azerbaijan is a secular country and according to a gallup poll over half of the population says that religion has little to no importance in their life.
- Again, countries in which a majority of people are muslims are not automatically muslim countries. Since the US is (at least nominally) a secular country, it's impossible for it to be more influenced by religion than a non-secular country.
- Was that an international poll? In case you have a link, I'd love to see that one. Muslim, just like christians, differ greatly from country to country. A muslim from Saudi-Arabia will have vastly different opinions from a muslim from France.
In the meantime, take a look at this poll. Mind you those are UK muslims, so they're supposedly more moderate than people in the middle-east. They live in a first-world country yet a huge proportion of them wants the execution of apostates. Show me sine christians who would want that.
- Inside Europe, yes. That's because we don't have a lot of muslim and those we have are 99% immigrants. The biggest source of terrorism in Europe are separatists (85% of terrorist attacks). Immigrants are obviously not involved in such movements, the rest is pretty much only left-wing and right-wing terrorism.
Politics will always exist as long as society does, but Islam is the only major source of religious terrorism in Europe, despite the fact that a mere 2,5% of the people in the EU are muslims.
- People like you are the greatest friends racists have because you make people believe that everyone is a racist simply for disagreeing with certain ideologies. When everyone is a racist, the actual racists seem less horrible.

^ We only talked about ponies because people only drew ponies. When people start forcing religion into an irreligious show, they'll obviously spark discussions unrelated to the show.

People weren't FORCING religion into the show asshat but as its been shown by you and many other members of Ponibooru, you've been forcing stereotypes of people in an attempt to get them to stop drawing ANYTHING with variety. As its been said by many people, fuck you Ponibooru. You and you're little asshat members are scum.

So many people in need of banning, so little mods.

Hey Eco, you want people to stop calling you useless?

Get rid of this idiot talking shit about followers of a religion as if they were all extremists.

That'd be awesome.

Only on Ponibooru can members whine like they're the victims for being made fun of for like this show yet turn around and do shit like this....and still be expected to be pitied. The only thing that I pity is that your minds are this small when it comes to how you see and treat other people.

Love and tolerance; do you mother fuckers speak it or does it stand for 'Love and tolerate me as I berate and belittle you.'?
