It's a little difficult to identify them as MLP characters, but it's actually got some nice details. The hands and hair are great! I'm not all that certain on the eyes though. I think the sizes are a little off. |

DeeperMadness- Well, I'm sure they'll be a bit more identifiable once I get some color on there XD I guess I didn't realize that since I pretty much have my own interpretation on how the characters would look humanized and I hadn't ever gotten feedback on it before. The eyes look off to me as well, I'm playing with some new styles when it comes to drawing humans, and I'm not to sure if I'm keen on this one. |

I think part of the problem is the shape of the eyes and the lack of cheeks. You don't have to be cartoony about it, but it does leave them looking a little expressionless. It also leaves the smiles looking rather cold and the faces like porcelain. This isn't a bad thing by any means and, ultimately, this is only my opinion, but I think just a little more deformation to make it look like their skin, muscles and jaws have moved might make them seem a little more alive.
As for the eyes, well that's a little hard as you haven't given then pupils, so you can't tell where they're looking or focusing. Until you're ready to colour them, you could use markers (on a separate layer) to position their focus until you're happy with it. But again, that's only my opinion. I'm not sure what style you're aiming for. |

No, I completely agree XD It does seem pretty emotionless. Unfortunately, I'm not to pleased with the style over all, so I'll probably be switching to something a little more cartoon-y. That way I can definitely give them much more expression.
Always glad to hear feedback that can help me improve >w< |
