I still don't see what people saw in that blog. It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special.

I love how when the Tumblr was around everybody pissed and moaned about it and now that it's gone people are actually saying that they miss it. I view things from a highly objective standpoint, and I'd always thought the Tumblr was rather well done. It also provided some nice reaction images.

I miss it too. I could never picture Pinkie Pie like that tumblr, but Pinkamena on the otherhand. She was alluring to alot of us. I still did not figure it out. I could not stand anything that was in anyway related to how that Pinkamena tumblr was, but I loved the tumblr. Pinkamena was spontaneous and pretty surprising. Sure it was bad, but look at it this way. She was entertaining, some of the stuff was funny, other stuff was kinda gross. But that tumblr was the best until all of the copies started to appear, which I have nothing against. They are kinda cool in their own right. But some of them try too hard, Pinkamena was well balanced with a good story and sillyness. All kept the blog interesting. I especially loved Scoots in it. Odd pairing at first, but worked out so beautifully.

That Tumblr was the most disgusting, the most appalling, the most beautiful, and the most genuinely emotional thing to come out of this fandom.

Hey, there were plenty of people who loved it while it was still active. Not my fault if some people chose to ignore the fanbase ;P

I only found out about it after it was shut down. I am surprised no one continued it.

I'm glad no one continued it. The reason it was good was because of Crooked Trees. If someone else continued it, it'd just feel like a cheap imitation, and possibly disrespectful to Trees.

^ It was good because of style and story. What would make a continuation cheap would be if the content of the work was cheap.

Everyone knows where the original came from and can place their respect there for both the original and the story ideals in which any continuance is based.

Denying art and the joy it brings because of fear to offend some sense of entitlement is wrong. We are a society of consumption no less so in then in the arts. It is what captures our imagination and drives humanity. The people who built the car did not worry about the legacy of those who build the carriage.

If it is continued and continued well, the cry will not be disrespect but happiness. If someone continues it and it is bad then disrespect will be an issue, the issue being a mask to hind the disappointment of not getting the story the blog brought.

I hate how everyone tag pictures of Pinkamena as "worst_pony".

^ This.
Could people stop being overly sensitive manchildren for 5 seconds? Cupcakes wasn't even horrifying, but the Pinkamena character gets shit all the time because 5 year olds lose sleep over that stupid fanfic. -_-

^ Worst Pony is a badge of honor. If Serial Killer Pinkie isn't winning it then something is wrong and she needs to step up her baking.
