You know Zincy, it sucks because growing up I had a German exchange teacher for Geography in 8th grade many many years ago. Everyone was constantly calling him a nazi.
It's not like he was calling everyone else a plantation slave holder or something here in the US. It's unfortunate because he was a really nice guy (I remember he brought lots of excellent candy from Germany to give to kids) and he was supposed to stay for 5 years and left after 2. He hated it here. Perhaps tangential but still semi-related. |
