FiMchan = IDK deviantArt = Where all the people bitch about shippings and stuff. Countless other websites you missed = Probably safe since they're not as popular as the ones listed are. These are just my opinions, don't take it from me.

Ponychan is fine, its just the mods are Nazi's and its to light and fluffy. EQD is a decent news source, seth just needs to learn not to jump the gun. MLB, meh. FA, good source for porn but little in the way of community. DA, being a member myself i can confirm you will run into some of the worst idiots our fandom has to offer there. From the white-knights to the fandumbs, it has it all. I don't go to redit, and the only tumblrs I know about I found through here. Youtube bronys have similar problems to Ponychan users.

I really only browse Ponibooru, Tumblr, and YouTube. Maybe Equestria Daily or one of the chans if I'm REALLY bored, but usually not. Oh, but I would have to second Heinous's statement.

Ponychan - Not bad, just gotta let people know you do in fact have at least half of a brain. EqDaily - Good source of community news, comments are pretty crappy most of the time though tumblr - good community, fun place to pony around YouTube - PONIES! Though comments are pretty much the same quality they always are.... Ponibooru - WORST PLACE ON THE INTERNET EVER WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN I mean, uh... Pretty nice place. Anons are nice and namefags are too :I Newgrounds - pretty good fanimations and games, not sure about the community My Little Brony - always a laugh Furaffinity - don't spend any time there, but don't have much issues with it on the brony side of things usually Deviant Art - PONIES PONIES PONIES! and somewhat okay community, though they have their dark sides... Any other communities - Eh, they do what they want!

Echoing Zincy's statements on EQD and quite frankly you shouldn't judge their commenting section purely based on the events of the Tara Strong's Twitter. While I'm not particularly keen on their commenting section as I was a year ago, I don't think they're all bad. And as bad as people try and make it out to be. Quite frankly mostly all of these places have one thing in common is taking the show and the fandom too seriously. As for ponibooru,good art resource, decent community a few knuckle heads, know how to have fun

Our fandom seems to attract the moral crusaders, and they gravitate toward certain sites. Maybe its the light and fluffy aspect of the show, or maybe i'm missing something here. Face-palmed on youtube last night when i guy said he won't by official merch or listen to pony music all because rule 34 exists.

Ponychan= never been there/ EqD= Meh tumblr= A lot of artists hang out there, seems to lack much of the drama other sites have. Youtube= Good source of fan made videos (and a place to catch the latest episode if you missed it) Ponibooru= Fav pony site (since the fan art is my favorite part of the fandom). 4chan in general= birthplace of the fandom but I moved on a long time ago. newgrounds= Wot? My little brony= See 'newgrounds' above FA= Drama DA= some good artwork there (which winds up here), best place to talk to people who work on the show (Sibsy, etc), too many people complaining to them though about what they DON'T like about the show (hint: don't complain to a editor about the writing, it's like bitching to the parking valet that your steak was overcooked). FiMChan= was better when artists hung out there more often. Reddit= Meh Other Communities= e621 is usually a month late on art being uploaded, gurochan/inflatechan are fine if you are into those things, inkbunny/hentai foundry/sofurry produce relatively small amounts of art but are worth checking once in a while and paheal (pony 34 featured? Grab some popcorn and enjoy the reactions).

Furaffinity is a lot faster than ponibooru. The problem with is that cause the programmers are crap the site goes down once every few months until they fix the problem. On the other hand there hasn't been a massive outage in months. Another good thing is what few members left that aren't bronies are the largest collection of butthurt on the internet. The furries that aren't bronies as well on Fa are also hilariously stupid and I don't mean that in a "haha" funny way, I mean that in a "HAHAHAHA-*continues laughing for a hour* *passing out from laughing so hard*" sort of way. So fa is a good site for you IF- You like porn+want a site that's faster+Enjoy the hilarious butthurt from anti-bronies

Except I already help someone who wanted troll bronies, but the individual watched so many episodes who finish to like it. I will say this since since it was mentiond, we over at IC used to have a grand'ol time watching the reaction on this site when one of our "works" made it over here. Oddly enough, its seemed to calmed down right around the time coke-pony came into existence.

Ponychan = 4chan lite. EqD = A good page to act as the front for the fandom. No fetish art nor (very) steamy fanfics linger around there... there are exeptions tho. Reddit = IDK i never go there. Tumblr = Some cool askblogs... and some less cool ones as well. YouTube = One of the fandoms backbones for people outside of the US. Ponibooru = Awesome flamewars and epicenter of furry hate. My favourite "basement" to hang out in. /co/ or /mlp/ = I still think they plan on banning everyone who ever posted in /mlp/... just you wait. /b/ = /b/ is /b/ Newgrounds = Don't care. never go there. My Little Brony = I never go there. FurAffinity = Source of most of the R34 and fetish art. FiMchan = Dunno. deviantArt = Source of some fanart and the fetish art not already at FA.

Ponychan: I don't know that place very well... Equestria Daily: I usually keep this site open at all times. I'm not interested into all the news, but most. reddit: I don't know what reddit is, nor what people do there. I just hear about it here and there... tumblr: Nice pony blogs. Sometimes I just throw in a few anonymous questions to the artists here and there. YouTube: Here I watch Pony, and listen to Pony, and sometimes non-Pony Music. Ponibooru: I keep this site open all the time too. Mostly for pony related images that I missed on deviantart. /co/: This is the first place where I found the Brony community. I found Ponies first on TvTropes, curiously I watched a few episodes and then I saw people talking a lot about /co/ in the comments back then. /b/: Never liked. Newgrounds: I don't even know that it has a large brony community. I usually see this as place, where people dump their pony animations and games, after deviantart and other places. I like this place a lot, but not really because of ponies alone though. FIMchan: I prefer this over Ponychan, as it has less, if any, rule at all. I don't actively post here though. One thing I know, is that it is connected to Ponibooru. My Little Brony: I visit it daily, when I don't forget to do so. Just for some quick laughs. But I spend most of the time on the other pages of cheezburgernetwork though. Furaffinity: Since I'm very open and tolerant about furries I also visit it here and there. I also have an account there, but I didn't submit much. deviantART: This is my main hub since long before ponies. I mainly put my stuff here, and also like to talk with others. I'm not very social though. I never really know much about the communities on those places. I guess that people are all the same everywhere. And the bigger and more know a place is, the more scum it does attract. Also I tend to not hate others because of their ways. I prefer to ignore them if I disagree with or dislike them.

Ponibooru is my main pony site and the only one I'm really familiar with, but I do occasionally browse ponychan and while some individuals can be annoying, I find its reputation to be exaggerated overall (though if I was there more often its flaws might be more evident).

And far too much tripfag circle jerking. Which is ironic because they will glorify some tripfags with no personality like Leth and Smile, but shit on any new tripfag. They also don't seem to give shit to old tripfags that don't "contribute", but if you show up with a tripcode and don't plan on "contributing" (gonna use that word very loosely as it means nothing anyway) there will be post after post after post telling them they are attention whoring and to gtfo. See Nigger faggot's /co/urt picture for more hypocrisy. /b/ or /b/read: They don't even discuss pony whatsoever so fuck em' Newgrounds: Haven't been there in a long time but I doubt much mlp animation get's submitted Fimchan: Really slow board that seems pretty useless except for some of the huge artists that post there My Little Brony: shithole Furaffinity and Deviantart: Normal art sites, of coarse there are tons of users that know fuck all about art itself, but besides that they're pretty good.

Ponychan: No real opinion. EqD: I have no problems with it. reddit: No real opinion. tumblr: I like some of the stuff that comes from there. Youtube: I like the pmvs and let's watch stuff, but the site often gets on my nerves for other(unrelated to this fandom) reasons. Ponibooru: Despite all of the things I've seen go down here, I really enjoy this place. /co/ : I liked it while I hanged there, despite some of the problems that came from trolls and mods. Drifted away from there to here after awhile. /b/ : I find it funny that I have no problems looking through 4chan's /d/, but /b/ freaked me out. nuff said. Fimchan: No real opinion, much like Ponychan. Do on rare occasions look through there to see whats up on the artist end. Newgrounds, Fur Affinity and devianart: No particular problems with these sites. My Little Brony: Never heard of them.

Ponychan: Reading what gets posted there drains the joy out of MLP and the fandom for me, so this anon stopped visiting. EqD: The primary fandom news website whether you like it or not. Derpyhoovesnews makes a good alternative if you have issues with EqD. Reddit: No idea. Tumblr: Find a few blogs that you like and stick with them. Overexposure may lead you down some bad links into a web of idiocy (e.g. what happens when you follow the anti-Derpy links and find THEIR group of friends). Youtube: Formerly the prime recruiting grounds for new bronies until episode takedowns began. Never take any comments on Youtube seriously. Lots of great music to be found. Also, lots of bronies being obnoxious to the general internet public. Ponibooru: The archivists of the fandom. This anon seems to miss the shitstorms that supposedly crop up here, but they are far less visible and less damaging than drama on other sites. /co/: Lurk and learn. Fans and non-fans have the greatest chance of mingling here. Trolls are everywhere though. /b/: ERROR FiMchan: Their fanart board is good to visit, and you can sometimes find art and discussion there before they hit the blogs or other websites. Newgrounds: Only the vaguest of ideas here, but MLP seems to be a tiny minority. My Little Brony: Ponibooru gets duplicates with their watermark added onto it... Furaffinity: NOPE.jpg Deviantart: Full of asinine, sycophantic drama in general. As with tumblr, stick to your favorites but keep your visits brief and don't wander as its webs of idiocy are bigger and more gnarly. Ponygoons got overlooked?
