Actually power doesn't make anyone a Mary Sue. It is more about how "perfect" the character is.
And I don't think prone to mistakes Twilight who obsesses on things too much and has very little social skills is a Mary Sue nor is Celestia who despite her power and position needs help from ordinary ponies quite often and appears to be somewhat lonely on the top. |
