I can say 'it's wrong' without being enemies. For example, I object smoking and drinking. I have friends who drink. I am still friends with them, even if sometimes I suggest them to stop drinking.

Gay people have just as much right to get married as any other people. Gay culture has just as much right to be taught in schools as any other culture does. Simple solution, make it legal and leave it up to the individual marrying the couple whether or not they want to marry a gay couple, and don't hold them responsible if they refuse to. Gay marriage is then legal, and the churches cant bitch and moan about religious crap about them being forced to marry gay people and go against the bible. Everyone is happy.

The Homosexual Classrooms Act, which again goes by an actual name not this slander, requires schools to teach about famous homosexuals, which we they already do. The Gay Bill of Special Rights, is once again a bullshit rightwing name for The Employment Non-Discrimination Act which prevents employers from discriminating agasint gays.

The Defense Marriage Act defines marriage as the legal union of one man and one woman. Several parts of the bill were deemed unconstitutional in 2011. As far as I know, no. Private schools tend to be their own entities. Other education bills don't apply to them so I don't see why this one would. No, its only for homosexuals. However, there are already bills in place covering race, religion, gender, etc.

The only counter argument needed is that adults who wish to get married should be allowed to marry those who they love and want to be with. Marriage provides important social conveniences and benefits that homosexuals deserve the same as anyone else. Something like a "self" marriage makes no sense because it doesn't handle important legal and civil concerns such as hospital visitation, tax law, family medical coverage, etc. The idea that a marriage between a male and female marriage is "beneficial" to society based upon the idea of having kids doesn't work because that would preclude old people, sterile people, or people who simply do not wish to have children from getting married. Furthermore, this country has enough people in it. The idea that somehow "having children" makes a union beneficial to society is bunk. Gay people getting married doesn't somehow stop all the lovely straight people from overpopulating the world how they see fit. In fact, were gay couples allowed to adopt in more states then children who would otherwise have to live in group homes and orphanages could find healthy and happy homes. Take your bigotry and small mindedness elsewhere.
