In honor of John De Lancie's Bday, I thought I'd buckle down and do a decent Discord-centric MLP comic focusing on his return.
Unfortunately his bday came faster than I expected, so I didn't have time to really do any proper cleaning. Only some minor tweaks. Hopefully people will appreciate the headcanon enough to overlook the relative lack of quality and sketchiness compared to many of the submissions you see. I pretty much skipped sleeping to finish this before I have to leave for work tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to make it through work without falling asleep and/or crashing to get back home safely. |

Actually, I was going from the idea he was always a draconequis and Starswirl was his unicorn disguise so he could spread around chaotic spells for other unicorns to use. |

oh, I should at least address teh anons that are bringing up valid points -
@1165871 - actually, he never said the elements didn't work, just that it wouldn't necessarily have the same effect. If you noticed at the end, Discord left with the same effect Twilight did when the time travel spell ran out, so you would hopefully be able to make the connection that this whole conversation was with a Discord from the future. I do love how you phrased it though. @1165901 - okay, so other than starswirl, how many ponies do you know that have a full out beard? (for instance, mutton chops don't count, nor do mustaches) Also, consider that every interaction Twilight has had with Starswirl the Bearded has resulted in her being trolled in some manner, either the spell that caused her to drive herself crazy, or even the outfit that made her get mistaken for a clown and country music singer. |

Traditonal ones from the beastaries do have beards. but they also have cloven hooves like deers. |
