I gave Dash the Knight class because she would most likely have a class focused on combat, and being the Element of Loyalty, she would be focused in using her powers to protect the other players. I think Prince could also work for her, if we ignore that it's male exclusive class.
I didn't quite get the role of a Heir yet, but I gave it to her mostly for her having the strongest connection to her family than any other character. Pinkie would probably suck as a Seer, but she has the Pinkie Sense, so she has at least some potential. Rarity has shown to be somewhat manipulative on some rare occasions, plus being the Element of Generosity, she can use her Rogue powers to help the others. But to be honest, I'll only be 100% sure when every class and aspect is fully explained. |

I think Dash would be better suited as a Rogue, what with her personality of wanting to be #1, with the mixture of being Loyalty. She takes things from enemies/the session, but returns it for use for her friends. Also she couldn't have the aspect of Time as that would be taken by Twilight in this case, instead being Breath for slightly obvious reasons of being the fastest pegasus in Equestria and having inherent air abilities. Heirs are described on the wiki as "one under the protection of their aspect", or "one who protects themself by using their aspect", so that seems pretty limited in terms with AJ. I'd say Knight for her as they use their aspect as a weapon - AJ, element of Honesty, using her aspect: Heart (or soul) as a weapon. Pinkie Sense would relate to having the aspect of Light, but not the class of Seer. While Seers do have the ability of profiting others with their prior knowledge, for Pinkie's personality (especially her split-personality with Pinkamina) the Bard class would be a better fit, as they "invite destruction through [aspect]", meaning she could use Pinkie Sense as a weapon to the allowing of the downfall of her foes. Rarity would actually be better suited as a Seer, since Twilight has taken the Mage class, as well as the description of a Seer: "one who benefits others with their knowledge pertaining to their aspect". While Rarity's current character may not have as much knowledge of things as Twilight, given her element she would give out as much as she has. the aspect of Space fits Rarity's inherent ability of locating gemstones, but expanded so she could potentially have knowledge of all physical objects, their size, speed, etc. I think we're both agreed on Fluttershy having the Maid class, as it's a defender class fitting for her, though instead of Heart as the aspect, it would be Life given her general skill and desire to care for and heal creatures, bringing life-force back into things. |

Huh I would have put Twilight down as a Seer since she always makes the plans probably pin her Aspect as Hope since she always kicks into overdrive when things are at their worst.
Definitely agree with Pinkie Pie as Bard of Light as long as we're ignoring the gender restrictions on the classes, other wise I'd make her a Rogue. |

Er, seems like I derped back there. Dash is certainly a hero of Breath, I didn't even noticed I typed Time until I read your reply. I agree that she's fit to be a Rogue of Breath, however, there's the theory that sometimes Skaia give titles that challenge the players. It would encourage Dash to control her wish of being #1, while still giving her a more active class. So, both are valid, I guess. For AJ, I agree that Knight makes more sense than Heir. Being a hero of Heart fits her being the Element of Honesty, however, she lived her entire life in a farm. She planted apple seeds and grew them all the way into trees, which can tie her to the aspect of Life. Beside, she lacks the duality heros of Heart should have. Pinkie as a Seer is mostly a second choice, so I think we both agree that she's a bard. I never really thought of the Pinkie sense being associated with the aspect of Light, but it makes a lot of sense. Her 4th wall breaking powers can still indicate Space, and now that you mentioned it, she has the split-personality necessary for being a hero of Heart. Rarity was the hardest for me, and I considered the possibility of her being a Seer myself, so I'm with you. Being a hero of Space makes some sense, but she's also really ambitious, so she can also have the aspect of Light due to it being related to luck. I believe that Fluttershy's motherly personality can be associated with Heart (assuming that the aspect can also mean heart, instead of just soul), and both Flutterage and the new Fluttershy can be considered split-personalites. But I do agree that Life fits her just as much, so I think she can have either. |

I guess the only way to find out for sure what they'll get is to force them into a game of SHoof and see what happens.
And watch as we rage over how Skaia selects things we didn't even think of, lol. I honestly hope once Homestuck is all finished, Hussie puts out a full timeline/plan for all the things that are concretely supposed to happen in an unscratched, non-null, non-void game so those of us who want to play the game with other characters or something can do so without getting into plot holes and the like because we don't know what's supposed to come next. |

Rainbow Dash is SO rogue of light. Yes I did just put Dash as passive.
She's just a normal weather pony, she can't do anything particularly special in terms of wind and air except go fast through it, which would most likely peg her as a time player, or at least an active role. BUT She can steal luck and redistribute it, if not control it directly. An example of her stealing it would be when her biggest rival in a flying competition suddenly had her wings fail on her. An example of her giving it would be when a discharge of her natural Light powers allowed no less than 5 fillies to suddenly get a stroke of good fortune, which lead them to their cutie marks. Most people think Pinkie is the space player, but this is soooooooo wrong, because she's such a heart player. Pinkie in Ponyville is probably her own dream self or something- hey, it's Skaia, it's possible! Fluttershy is the Thief of Rage. This should be obvious-she calms people down like nothing else, and stores the rage for later use. This is why her real rages are always so drastic-she's stored all that rage, and it's gotta bubble over eventually. I honestly can't get the idea of Fluttershy in full Thief gear carrying a battleaxe through battle- it's just too awesome! As for the other 3, Twilight is OCD, so time Yadda yadda. Apple is life blah blah trees farmer bluh! And the only aspect left which really fits Rarity is Space, which just has soooooooo much potential for hilarity with the frogs. |

Personally, I see it like this:
Twilight: Seer of Time (The Seer's challenge is to know that there are some things you cannot change. The whole time travel episode was about this. Yes) OR: Witch of Void (Always searching for meaning... understand that sometimes there is nothing there.) Rarity: Sylph of (Heart or Time) (She's a little... cold, sometimes. Also: spinning wheels spin the cloth of time, and dealing with tacky corpses. Yes.) Applejack: Heir of Life (The Heir needs to achieve for oneself, not to support others. Applejack brings life to others.) Pinkie Pie: Bard of Space (Yes, I know it's a guys-only class; no, I do not care. She allows space to destroy things when it's convenient, and allows space to be destroyed.) Fluttershy: Maid of Rage (When her coping mechanisms fail, she's a slave to her rage. I figure in circumstances when she's gonna die, her rage would pull her through covered in blood of all flavors and holding three rabbit-themed battleaxes.) Rainbow Dash: Rogue of Light (distributes stolen light to the party, a lucky little chuckler) |
