The issue is in a completely different place, you need to look at this from an outsider's perspective:
Guests of honor at a convention based around a show for little girls is artists who draw porn of said little girl's cartoon. Yep, completely normal people who just happen to lke a show for a different demographic. Oh, wait, that's exactly how it doesn't look like. I don't really care how you guys want to be represented, i'm just saying stuff. |

But it could be worse. They could be posting up porn everywhere in the convention and secret dirty shows like a furry convention I mean, some other guests might stare at them and Lauren Faust might shake her head disapprovingly but that's it. |

It is called BRONY con for a reason. And the last several times JJ and other artists were featured, they didn't show off their NSFW stuff openly. They mostly did commissions and SFW pony art, etc. They know what they're doing. I just don't get why people look down on NSFW Pony artists like they're stupid. They are not. They are pretty much yucking it up with the stuff you guys talk about. |

Faust already acknowledged them as a legitimate artistic aspect of the fandom. Just that she's not into doing NSFW material as she's a cartoonist professional and her own style about MLP. A lot of artists who dabbled in erotic MLP art met Faust. Nothing ever happened. I can see where you guys are coming from, but those meetings already happen ed during the past year. It's not news. |
