I think the whole "lets torture and mutilate blackjack thing" got old like 10 chapters back. At this rate I think just killing her off would do us all a favor. Blackjack especially! |

FlyingSaucer, those are my sentiments exactly.
Half of why I'm tired of Horizons in general. For like 15 chapters it was nothing more than a constant humiliation conga for Blackjack and her friends. Just... Ugh It got stagnant. At least the plot is rolling again, but seriously. Now Blackjack's face is fucked to pieces and we're about to have P-21 Med-X addiction shoved down our throats for five chapters. I'm sold on it being overrated. |

Well, she propably gets some "repair" thanks to her cloned organs and stuff, but I really like how Blackjack (and Littlepip) accumulate more and more damage over the story ... it's better than having them have a big fat plot-shield that protects them from all serious harm.

Honestly, it's less Trauma Conga now and a realistic interpretation of the sheer volume of damage a player character would take in-game.
In game terms, the last few chapters have given her a debuff/new ability from Killing Joke, took god knows how much damage/debuffs from walking in Flux and taint, and got shot with countless boolets. Honestly, it's less torture now and more getting her ass cut, shot and melted. |
