You'd have to ask the artist for their reasons mind you. But I think most other people do it because he is the only canon character left over. Personaly I think Derpy/Ditzy fits more seeing as she has been seen with a muffin launcher and people seem to believe that both are mentaly handicapped. Though in the artist's defense buff spike's build does match soldiers build quite well. |
