I think Spike is more of a broter than a son towards Twi. What are the odds that a six year old pony would've raised a baby dragon? He was probably raised by Twi's parents and/ or Celestia alongside Twi.
And I doubt that the Phoenix is Spikes "son". If he count's as family member Twiligh'ts owl and Celestia's Phoenix would count, too. |

Incomplete and erroneous- if Spike 'adopted' Peewee, then there is a good chance that Princess Celestia 'adopted' Philomena, so both phoenixes should be included.
Also, according to Faust, Princess Celestia raised Spike IIRC, so THAT is incorrect as well. |

Ever since Heartswarming Eve, I've assumed Blueblood's descended from Princess Platinum or the her father, and Princess Celestia/Luna married his however many generations removed great uncle (or aunt) when taking the thrown to placate the old royal family. The multi-generations removed claim was merely a rumour based on a joke Celestia made that hasn't died. |
