He grants you a wish, but then you're forced to fight witches until your soul turns black from despair and you become a witch yourself. Then he takes the energy from your soul and applies it to stop entropy and stave off the heat death of the universe, but not for altruistic reasons, it's for his race's benefit as the heat death of the universe is pretty much the only thing that can kill them. |

Scary thing is, Kyubey can actually grant that wish, which would render him insane by the definition of his race...
