What the heck did you guys expect the ponies to do? Those dragons have such durable bodies that they can comfortably swim in molten rock. How do you even hurt a creature that tough? Call it mean names? |

^ The fact that dragons can survive in molten rock does not mean they have bodies as durable as superman. It only means that they are beings of fire, and their core temperature is super high that allows fire to not hurt them. They aren't invincible, Rainbow Dash caused the fully grown Red Dragon, that reappeared this episode, to feel a solid blow to the face.
I wasn't that surprised that the dragons could survive lava. Its a moderately well known concept about dragons. I was only impressed they included it. |

^ That's cause you're thinking molten rock is like water. Its not. Its very thick and heavy probably not even like cement. Even if it wasn't hot, it would crush a creature immersed in it.
RD kicked the red dragon in the face but he felt no pain. More like a universal gesture of rudeness from RD. |

^^Don´t forget that Spike got Lava INSIDE his body but his organs didn´t got burned! They not only fireproof outside but also inside as well. Which makes sense, how else could they survive their own fire breath.^^ |
