I personally see Twilight Sparkle as Neutral Good...since although she's ultimately good, she CAN be evil at times.
We STILL don't have a definitive title holder for Lawful Evil since Prince Blueblood isn't necessarily evil. Maybe the Season 3 villain will take the spot. |

Lawful evil means: abiding by the law/ personal honor code, however without respect for the needs of others and ignorant to the values of life and freedom.
Actually a lot of royals and rulers are like that, it fits Blueblood too well to not be. |

Blueblood is more Chaotic Neutral than Evil, since he only cares about himself disregarding social rules (treating rarity like not-a-lady), there is just nothing evil about him at all. |

#889, what makes him "evil" IS his selfishness. And since he's such a "royal noble" and is such a part of the "establishment", he couldn't be more lawful, really. If he were chaotic, he'd be utterly against his lifestyle, and just not considering yourself evil or realizing you're evil doesn't make you less "evil".
Keep in mind that "evil" by the dnd rules doesn't necessarily mean MURDEROUS TWISTED MONSTER or w/e, it can just mean someone who cares more about themselves than the wellbeing of others or the good of things in general, etc. |

Which is Rainbow Dash? She's like a combination of Lawful Good and Chaotic Neutral. A slightly rude but good natured prankster and daredevil when things are normal, but a rational and strong willed defender of others when serious. |

Blueblood fits more in Chaotic Neutral, he's just narcissist, propably he's not evil just an spoiled brat with the capacity of do some good or evil as well... of course, if he gets some benefit

Discord is absolutely, undeniably evil. He is evil in every sense of the word. All he cares about is his own enjoyment, without care for whom it may hurt. Worse, causing pain to innocent ponies -is- how he gets his fun. Discord is no less Chaotic Evil than Kefka or the Joker. |

I would contest that Fancypants is ALSO lawful good. He certainly is part of high society and enjoys the finer things in life. But he's also open-minded and compassionate. He's not indifferent enough to neutral on the morality axis. Then again, I really can't think of a character that would be LN. Sheriff Silver Star maybe? |

Any being that jumps for joy after finding out they've ruined the life of another is evil. Discord is pretty f***ing evil.
We don't know anything about Shining Armor yet, but honestly- with a name like that, what's to expect? Lawful evil could be Nightmare Moon. She wanted to remake the world in her image, to create her own personal empire in which all were as evil as she and all bowed to her. I don't like using her though, because she isn't a separate entity from Luna. So maybe we should either stays with Blueblood, or put Diamond Tiara there. She abuses whatever authority she gains, she wants to be in control, she keeps her underlings in check with blackmail and she tells herself she has great 'pony skills'. She fits well. |
